served as the primary A/E firm responsible for the total design and
contract administration of this Digital Fiber Optic Distribution Center.
At the facility, digital fiber optic signal is converted to radio
frequency (RF), amplified, encoded with enhancements and converted
back to digital fiber optic signal for the broadband, cableTV and
telecommunications industry. Special requirements for this 24/7 365
facility include full environmental control systems, a generator with
battery back-up and a DC power plant. |
